Taking Notes

This is how I take notes, sometimes. In a separate, lined book with a small point pen. I am always taking notes. Sometimes I will make the notes directly on the paper I am practicing on while doing a workshop. This was a Black Letter Variations workshop taught by Julian Waters in the summer of 2014 in Richardson, Texas. The pad of paper that "urchins" is on was bought from John Neal Bookseller, online. It is a gridded 11x17 pad, and it is grand for practice as well as laying out any design you are working on.
